Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time Rental Coordinator for our Bloomington, IL location. Rental coordinators will identify customer needs, coordinate deliveries, and perform inventory control for our rental department. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:Arrange equipment transfers and logisticsManage fleet availability, utilization and returnsCoordinate with our Service Dept. repair and maintenance of rental fleetManage customer relationshipsClose rental deals from inbound inquiries and outbound telemarketing callsManage vendor relationshipsProvide customers with expert advice on equipment selectionHandle all company DMV paperworkGenerate rental customer invoicesTrack and update report for all rental inventoriesSupport outside sales force Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start timeDesired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or 2 years of previous related experienceExcellent time management skillsAbility to multi-taskExcellent communication skills - both verbal and writtenKnowledge of construction equipment, their application and safetyGood computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookLanguage Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills - Basic: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Reasoning Ability - Intermediate; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
